Colette up to today has only scribbled, not really ever actually drawing anything. then today she surprised us completely by drawing the whole family. She's in the upper left, I'm on the right, Nicolle the bottom left, Johnathan on the lower right. The bunny is in the middle and "a movie" is the scribbles next to Johnathan.

There'll be snacks and live music with Hayley Singley and myself.

I don't play at public venues often, mostly just private functions, much less for free, so this should be fun.

Our day out on Saturday

Back in October we dressed up as Rainbow Brite & Co and won passes to a bunch of SLC's attractions . . . we couldn't possibly see everything included in one day but we went to the ones we liked the most:
The aquarium in Sandy, the Imax at the Gateway, Discovery at the Gateway, the Natural history Museum and a free lunch at the Lion House. Here are some pictures from the aquarium . . .

We watched the 3-d imax movie about dinosaurs at the gateway too. Johnathan was mesmerized and jumped every time a dinosaur growled. He also tried to grab the 3-d images . . .

I recorded it on Alto, Tenor, and bari saxes today, with the help of a great percussion track.

Long time no post . . . post overload! New Year's Eve, and more!

Here are some pics form the new year's gig, Nicolle got to come and she brought a friend so she wasn't bored out of her brain whilst I played for 5 hours. Festivities included Taro card reading, blackjack tournament, and a raffle where Nicolle won a gift certificate to a spa place.

In other news we're snowed in usually up here in Salt Lake, we moved to the Aves and love it up here. Mackenzie (Nicolle's sister) flew out over Christmas and we spent a lot of time eating and watching movies at Grandma Bennion's house.

I bought Nicolle a new car (new for us anyway) and so I spent all of our money. Anybody who knows someone needing live music hit me up!

This New Years Nicolle was able to come to my gig, and she came with a friend so she wasn't bored out of her skull . . .

We had a lot of fun (I Played for 5 hours!) And Nicolle won a spa thing from the raffle drawing.
