There are 270,000 brazilians in japan, 1.2 million japanese in São Paulo. Who'da thunk. Rob has been looking into this phenomenon a lot lately, I imagine he will keep us updated on any opportunities that arise from it. Moving on my amazingly talented little sister took the picture, I got a cd with a bunch of her wonderful pictures for Mother's Day so I will be posting them so you can all enjoy them as well.

65 days and counting...

It is actually less than that but I thought it sounded like a good number to begin the countdown with. The papers necessary for the visas are delayed, we don't know who is going to rent our apartment, we don't know a word of Japanese and I hate sushi. Things are going just as planned.

Currently we are still in the US, awaiting the return of our visa applications. We've signed the contract, and our plane tickets have arrived for July 20th. We are very excited and look forward to our time in the East!
