Easter egg hunts!

Cracking confetti-filled eggs on Grandma's head . . .

Kauai with the kids

Colette snorkeled for the first time. . . just the mask, no snorkel. We saw a lot of fish on the reef, she hung on my back while I snorkeled around. Johnathan found a sea slug, which we watched for a while then put back in the ocean.

Riding the bus back to the airport!

Indoor Climbing

My favorite was the climbing treadmill . . . it moved down while you climbed for a continuous climb . . . pretty difficult though

Return to the north shore

JT and I went to the north shore this week . . . I can't believe how beautiful it is there . . . it felt familiar and like we'd never left, it took me right back . . . remembering all sorts of things, from Spam Musubi and soda at KHS Red Raiders to backpacking above Laie falls . . . pulled pork school lunch and GT English . . . geckos on the walls and
Hey siblings hopefully these pics can bring it back a bit for you too . . . we flew in and took a bus from town to get to this great campsite North of goat island.
We camped at this place . . .

The salty wet sea air coming from the ocean is exhilirating combined with the sight and sound of thundering waves . . .

JT and I enjoyed the campground's wifi and charging station . . .

Thanks to the time difference we woke up in time for the sunrise . . .

They recently paved a jogging/biking path from Laie to Kahuku along Kam highway . . . it's pretty convenient

"We are going, to the hukilau"

Someone built a little shack at Temple beach, here a view of the point from inside . . .

A turtle joined us swimming at Temple beach . . .
JT at Laie point . . .

The spot we used to jump from . . . (remember Dave?)

HI again

We could see whale spouts from Laie point . . .

JT was a little worried about this crabshell

Even though there's an L&L's in SLC, it's like eating In n Out in Utah . . . just isn't the same here.

JT at the entrance of BYU-H

Our old chapel at the end of Mona (Haole) street . . . Dave and I waited for the bus here very morning to go to Kahuku H.S.

The old house has been demolished and they are almost done with this giant one in its place

Looking up to campus from our old house
