clever title
I wonder what the world will be like when Colette is older, if her obsession with video games will mean she will be an outcast or a nerdy boys dream girl...
We do try to create more of a balance by taking the babies outside for mandatory play time. It seems to me that the kids adhere to that rule that things in motion tend to stay in motion until acted upon..or at least the kids will want to continue an activity for as long as possible until we coerce them into doing something else, and then they want to continue that until the next thing we make them do...it can be exhausting. At least at the zoo we were practically the only ones there which provided optimal viewing. The big gorilla growled at us a bit for interrupting his tv watching, which made the kids all the more entranced by him.

Holidays are F-U-N
The kids got lots of their favorites, and we didn't get any good pictures because we misplaced our camera charger (found it today, hooray!). We spent most of Christmas eve and day with the Bennions, either here at our house in SLC or in Provo at their house. Rob, Michelle, Chris and I watched Avatar on Christmas day, which was amazing, and then we went to the Esplin party on Saturday, which was also very fun. Then Sunday night Colette and I flew to NY to catch a plane to Orlando and then to Costa Rica. The trip was hideous but it was cheap so worth doing (at least once). On the 3rd Rob and Johnathan arrived after a much smoother trip and met all the relatives that had only seen him in pictures. We ate delicious food, watched the bull fights a-la tica and worked on the house. We all got a cold that got worse when we got back.
Oh and I start school today. This is my second to last semester, I may get to walk in May and then do a last semester in the summer, then on to job hunting...blah. In any case we hope you all had great holidays and promise to keep in touch.
TLC's "Little Chocolatiers"
This chocolate shop is across the street from our new apartment in the aves, Nicolle says she sees them filming there all the time for TLC's show "Little Chocolatiers". I haven't been into the shop except once over the summer to buy Colette ice cream after she got a shot from the doctor.
